Moving to PNG in September!

We are excited to be speaking at churches for the next month (July - August) and visiting our church families in Iowa, Michigan, and Missouri. We are currently at 74% of our monthly financial support and at 85% of our one time expenses. Please contact us if you would like to get together with us or are interested in getting involved with our ministry!

Also, we have new prayer cards! If you would like one mailed to you, please let us know.

Prayers and Praises:
- Prayer for paperwork. We have been waiting on the PNG embassy to give us the green light to send in our paperwork. We have the green light for all of us except for Brennan.
- Prayer: Kayla and her family as they grieve the loss of her brother, Matt.
- Praise: We are excited to be so close to buying our plane tickets, and are trusting the Lord to bring in the rest before we leave.
- Praise and Encouragement: We are as a family doing well spiritually. All of us as believers will have harder days, and I think this season has had some battles for sure. (I mean, the Bible makes it clear - there is a spiritual battle). Yet, we are finding victory in Jesus. We are so incredibly grateful for our sweet Father who is in constant pursuit of not just us, but those who do not know Him. I love how He is not only the Most High God, but He is our God who is with us. Our God who sees us and sympathizes with our weakness. Jesus, of whom no other name compares. Jesus who is humble and became the servant of all. We can boast in our weakness, because in our weakness we truly find strength in Jesus - not in our flesh. Thankful for the journey. In this, we are continually praying that we can really just love on and be a light to those who do not have the sure hope that is found in Christ.

"We have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death is at work in us, but life in you. Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self[d] is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." - 2 Corinthians 4:7-18
